the girl behind the imagination
In June of this year, Lauren left her hometown in the UK, to pursue her ambition of a successful career and lifestyle in Canada. After two years of careful spending and planning she traveled West across the country from Montreal, before settling and finding home in Vancouver.
With a love for Literature and Writing, Lauren had once dreamt of running her own magazine. Though her passions for her studies remained with her throughout school and beyond, over time her dream has slightly altered but she still maintains a marketing and communications focused career.
When she isn't imaging herself as Carrie Bradshaw meeting freelance deadlines, Lauren can be found exploring the city or the provincial parks, working up a sweat in the gym or relaxing at home on the sofa with a cup of English tea, whilst pouring over novels set in the glam decades of the early 1900's.

a girl's imagination was first published at the beginning of 2012 as a way to document Lauren's adventures, loves and inspiration. Still an infant to the blogging community, a girl's imagination has already exceeded initial expectations. Her blog has become a secret garden in a fast paced world where she can scribble her thoughts and experiences, in the hope that it becomes a place where others can be inspired to dream, share their stories and peruse the pages of a girl's imagination.
