On a sunny afternoon

There is nothing like spring sunshine and on Saturday, Spring delivered us a beautiful day in the South East. The sky was the most serene blue, not a white swirl of a cloud in sight. We live close to park and lakes so we took the camera, some change for a coffee at Costa and set off on a walk. Sunshine makes everything seem more beautiful.
The Church we live close to has beautiful detailing...
...which was perfect (and easy) to photograph

Experimenting with the camera
My camera skills do not extend further than the beginner category at the moment but I'm enjoying learning. At uni I took hundreds of photos, so much so that I had to put them on an external memory drive as it slowed my laptop down so much!

I love that photos have the power to take you back to a certain moment and help you to piece together memories you thought you had forgotten. Photography has also become a lot more accessible with affordable SLR cameras that are user friendly. Even compact digital cameras are now so very reasonable now and take great photos! At uni my first camera was just 3.6 mega pixels!!!

If you have any tips on taking great photos do leave them below, I'd love to hear your advice.
