I have however been able to indulge in a little TLC thanks to my Glossybox that arrived this week.
Here's what I thought:
I don't think I would have ever picked this up to test but I was really pleased with this little fragrance. It was quite a light scent but seemed to hold out throughout the day. I'm not a fan of sweet perfumes, I think cleaner scents have a more adult tone to them. This was of the latter. My current favourite is Boss Orange for women. I have to admit that the Sienna advert did persuade me to try the Boss fragrance in a store!
I absolutely loved the scent locked inside this little bottle of loveliness. It wasn't overpowering, just enough to make your shower that little more fragrant and luxurious. My skin felt super soft after use too. One of my favourites this month.
After seeing this in store I was tempted by this so very pleased to see it in the Glossybox to be able to try it out first as a healthy price tag it attached to it in store. This very scientific looking product claims to be "a powerful serum enriched with 3 glycans to help increase youthful activity in skin cells." I've only been using it for 3 days so I can't claim the validity of this statement to be true or false. It does feel super soft when applying to skin and is quite a light serum, not thick or heavy. Unlike other 'anti-aging' serums it didn't keep my skin feeling or looking silky throughout the day. Although I don't know if this product aims to do that?!
This was star of this month's box for me. The packaging and detailed pattern on the lipstick itself shouted "I'm a luxury product." Every now and again it's nice to add a bit of luxury to your make-up bag. Until I put this on I thought it was a matte lipstick (I didn't read the little card enclosed, clearly). However, it had a shinny, smooth texture on applying and was much lighter and natural in colour. Almost glossy but not sticky. If you get a chance to test this out - do, you will not be disappointed. The lid also acts as a little mirror if you are on the go...bonus!
Another product that I have been using for a short time so cannot say whether the science that it boasts is true or false. Ultimately it claims to firm skin and promote a younger looking body. In comparison to other body-firming lotions it goes on a lot lighter so when you pull a pair of skinnies on after they do not stick to your legs as you desperately try to pull them on. Although, the thicker lotions feel as though they are moisturising your skin more. But this could be a massive misconception on my part. It wasn't strong smelling, which I personally like. Overall a good product that I would be interested in purchasing.
I really enjoyed all the products in this box. Like I said the Burberry lippy is very 'up-my-street.' Can you also tell that I had lots of fun taking pictures with my new camera?! Had lots of fun messing around with this!
Would you be interested in buying any of these products?
